MyBibleBin is a tool for Scripture recall, study, and spiritual growth. Tag verses by theme, filter by keyword or book, and track what you're memorizing — so the passage you need is never more than a search away.
v2.1 · Requires iOS 16.6+ · Built by Kenan Gonino
Whether you're preparing for discipleship, teaching, personal devotions, or memorization, MyBibleBin gives you a fast, flexible way to hold onto God's Word.
Narrow your library by topic tags, a search term, or the Bible book you're studying.
Combine filters to broaden or tighten your results exactly how you need them.
Label verses with your own categories so future lookups take seconds.
Mark favorites, and flag verses as memorizing or memorized as you go.
Bring in your own verses and keep your library exactly as you want it.
Browse as scrollable cards, or switch to a compact list when you want density.
Keep your favorite filter combinations ready to reuse.
Export and import your data securely, on your own terms.
A closer look at how verses are organized, filtered, and tracked inside the app.
Verses show as cards with tags underneath, or as a simple list. Tap any card to open it full screen.
Use the star for favorites, the lightbulb for verses you're memorizing, and the brain for verses you've memorized.
Type a keyword, pick topic tags, choose Bible books, or show only favorites — then decide if results must match all your choices or just any of them.
Tags are the blue bubbles that group verses by theme. Add or edit them any time you create or edit a verse.
Tap the + button, paste or type the verse, add its reference, choose tags — it appears in your library instantly.
Connect related verses together so they surface underneath each other for easy cross-reference.
Run a manual, password-encrypted export any time, and restore it with Import whenever you need to.
MyBibleBin works completely offline and never collects personal information. Your verses, notes, and settings stay on your device. If you choose to save an exported backup to iCloud Drive (or another location), it remains in your own account and under your control. No data is sent to any servers, and the app includes no analytics, ads, or tracking tools. Everything you do in MyBibleBin remains private and secure.
MyBibleBin uses manual, user-initiated encrypted backups. Choose "Export/Backup" to create an encrypted backup with a passcode and save it wherever you prefer. To restore, choose "Import/Restore" and select a previously saved backup. The app also reminds you about every two weeks to make a fresh backup.
Your backup is encrypted with the passcode you choose, and MyBibleBin does not store that passcode anywhere. This means we cannot recover, reset, or unlock a backup on your behalf — if a passcode is lost, that backup file can no longer be opened. Please keep your passcode somewhere safe.
If iCloud Backup is enabled in iOS Settings, app data is included in full device backups. This is separate from the app's Export/Import feature. If iCloud Backup is off, your data remains on your device unless you save exported backups elsewhere. If you delete the app, reset your device, or switch phones without either an iCloud device backup or a manual export, your verses, tags, and notes cannot be recovered.
Backup files are intended for creating a personal archive or moving your library between your own devices — not for mass-distributing Scripture content to others.
